Increase free groups and provide an option between free and $25. Consider alllowing paying members to "sponsor" membership for those who cant afford it
I think it is close to false advertising to promote ShareWell with the line "Free Online
Peer Support Groups" when you only get 4 free per month and the next option is $25.
This site is a fantastic resource for all kinds of people, many of whom are struggling in different ways. To charge so much for what can be a lifeline feels predatory.
I really hope that ShareWell returns to either having peer groups being unlimited or at least drastically increasing the number per month free users have access to.
If you want to build a community here, you need to give people time to find it and allow them to take part.
Another thing to look into would be allowing paying members with the ability, to "sponsor" membership for those who can't afford it. The app Bearable has a system in place which uses a lottery system for members who can't afford the paid version.
If you followed some or all of these suggestions, you will end up with a larger, more loyal user base that will happily recommend this site to others. With how things currently are I would be more inclined to warn people of its limitations.
